A hotel located in the Wharf of Boston that was designed to resemble a ship with a simulated bow, stern, and deck. From the outside it was intended to blend in with the elongated 19th-century warehouses and wharves along the waterfront. To blend in, higher stories were set back, as to not overwhelm the older and shorter buildings on the wharf. The hotel is seven stories tall and offers 397 guestrooms and 15 suites. It was completed in 1982.
